Twitterrific for Twitter App Reviews

91 Customer Reviews:

This app is great for the most part. I rarely ever have problems. But I most recently upgraded to Mountain Lion and every 20mins or so it asks me to verify my acct with Twitter again. Hopefully theres a fix soon….

Still, no pull to refresh, Twitter image upload, image preview in separate window (I want to load an image and still be able to scroll in the timeline). Also, please add conversation view in DM. And please make profile image caching better

However, I like that I can sync across devices and mark my place, however the iOS versions allow me to sync via iCloud but the Mac version does not… Please change this!

Lacking iCloud Support

Looks great, but is missing iCloud to sync Tweet position.

Same ease of use and eye-comforting astethetics as the iOS version. My only nitpick is that the view picture popup window needs some more usability options.

I use and love the Twitteriffic iOS app, and one of my favorite features is the ability to mute someone on your timeline - you keep following them, but if they go on a retweeting spree you dont have to see all that. As I love the GUI, and the usability is great, I thought that it might have that same feature. Nope. At least I got it for half price. Please add this feature! It would be grand!

I only give this app 3 stars. Why? Because its too pricy and not nearly as aesthetically pleasing as the iPhone app. Also, because there is no iCloud syncing with the iPhone/iPad apps. It gets the job done similarly to to the iPhone app, but leaves something to be desired overall.

This app doesnt sync with the iOS version, as far as I can tell. The iOS version is very slick and seems to be where they focus their design, the Mac version is substandard, imho. Too bad there isnt a 30 day trial version, I would never have paid for this.

Seriously, where is the iCloud Sync Support?

Come on, get with the program, where is the iCloud Sync of bookmarks between the Mac and iOS devices? What year are you living in anyway?

Freezes and requires a reboot!

Latest version has caused me to reboot 4 times now in a week.

Is it just me or did the scrolling just become really terrible with a recent update?

No muffling, either? Seriously not at the level of the iOS app.

Ummm… NO

Just updated and have deleted & reinstalled 2 days in a row now. Everything on my macbook is showing upside down and backwards. FTW?

I liked the iOS app, so I bought this. I think I’m going back to the official Twitter app for Mac. Twitterrific’s interface takes up more space and is far less efficient than Twitter.app. There is no way to quickly enter a @name to view another user’s page, there is no autofill in the search bar, the notification icon doesn’t turn off after scrolling to the top of the feed unless you also click on the app, DMs are organized in a confusing way. There’s really not a whole lot to like here. It does support syncing with the iOS app, which is nice when it works, but that doesn’t happen often in my case.

Everything is upside down!

Nice update if you dont mind haning from the ceiling to read posts! What happened? Everything is upside down?

It’s been awhile...

This app has really died and it’s sad. I’d love to see its UI updated.

Found out in the forums this is due to running OSX10.7.5. They do provide an older version for download, but it isnt licensed even though I bought the new version license. Very disappointing, should be in the app notes in the store as a minimum requirement if they arent going to fix.

This used to be awesome. Now, on my iPhone 6 and iOS8 it doesnt work

This no longer works. I cant even log in.

I use twitteriffic largely because of inertia, and because I don’t feel like shelling out the cost that the other front-line twitter clients want. Most of the features are pretty good, and v5 on iOS is nice. However, perhaps my biggest complaint (aside from v5 not being out for osx yet) is that they still haven’t figured out how to handle animated GIFs yet. What’s taking them so long?
